It was past ten,
ten A.M.
Then the railway
began to shake.
I think the sun
already shone.
And on his horse
he appeared.

He rode on noise
without losing poise
until the wagon
was easy to board.

He waited some
for the right point
and when it came,
he just jumped on

The train was old
and wobbled a lot,
but Silence was deft
and ran it along

He reached the coach
and stealthily approached,

the work there was done.
